Description
An introduction to the use and operation of general and special purpose electronic test equipment, includes oscilloscope, multimeters, electronic multimeters, signal generators and transistor/capacitor testers.

Student Learning Outcomes

Properly connect an AC and/or DC power supply.
Measure AC and DC voltages, currents, and resistances with a DMM.
Measure AC and DC voltages with an oscilloscope.
Demonstrate use of a function generator and frequency counter for accurate signal inputs.
Identify and distinguish between various electronic components.
Explain the difference between an oscilloscope and spectrum analyzer.
Understand “instrument loading.”
Demonstrate the use of an LRC meter.
