ET 138B - Introduction to Slot Machine Technology Credits: 0.5-3 Description An introduction course detailing the theory and operation of typical slot machines. Installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of slot machines and their peripherals will also be covered in this course. This course can be repeated for up to a total of 3 credits.
Student Learning Outcomes
- Demonstrate a working knowledge of the theory and operation of a typical electronic slot machine.
- List the fundamental modes of operation of a slot machine.
- Describe the coin-in and coin-out assembly.
- Demonstrate the proper troubleshooting procedures.
- State various procedures and measures that are taken as a precaution to ESD.
- Demonstrate proper safety precautions.
- Describe the operation of slot machine peripheral devices.
