Description
An examination of modern definitions of health. Course includes a comparison of traditional and alternative health care, an overview of complementary and alternative health choices, and trends in complementary and alternative medicine. This course is informative only and is not designed for the practitioner.

  1. Compare and contrast traditional allopathic medicine with alternative therapies.
  2. Analyze the emergence of alternative and complementary therapies in Western society.
