LAW 258 - Constitutional Law Credits: 3 Description This course will introduce the student to the fundamental principles and concepts of American Constitutional Law with specific emphasis on civil rights, liberties and responsibilities.
Student Learning Outcomes
- Explain the fundamental principles and concepts of American Constitutional Law.
- Identify the three branches of the federal government and the interpretation of the articles that created them and control their functioning.
- Compare and contrast the individual’s rights in society, the changes in society that impact individual rights, and the Supreme Court decisions interpreting individual rights.
