PHO 102 - Photoshop I

Description
This course will introduce students to a basic Photoshop workflow, starting with Adobe Bridge for organization, moving into Adobe Camera Raw for RAW image development and onto Adobe Photoshop where advanced editing concepts begin.  This course can be taken in the same semester as PHO 101 . The student must be familiar with computer navigation, saving files, renaming files and using the internet.

Student Learning Outcomes
  1. Implement Adobe Photoshop (Ps), Bridge (Br) and Adobe Camera Raw (ACR) specific to photographic image making.
  2. Adapt image size, bit depth, color mode, file format, and resolution with regards to final image usage.
  3. Demonstrate appropriate critical thinking, problem solving and decision-making for the creation of digital imagery.
  4. Create a personal workflow for digital image creation, manipulation, storage and sharing.
