Description
This course introduces the students to the fundamental concepts and overview of the essential elements associated with the construction profession.  Topics will include construction careers and trends, project organization, risk management, ethics, and professional practice methods.

Student Learning Outcomes
  1. Differentiate the various careers in the construction industry.
  2. Analyze the current construction careers.
  3. Organize construction projects to include contracts, communication, logistics, budget, schedules and requisitions.
  4. Identify potential issues that could negatively impact or harm a construction project.
  5. Examine construction ethics and professional practice methods.
