PEX 220 - Advanced Cross Country

Description
This course is designed to teach and develop advanced skills required to compete in intercollegiate cross country. 

Student Learning Outcomes
  1. Perform fundamentals of cross-country racing such as identifying effective training methods, status of terrain and weather conditions, and speedwork.
  2. Identify and describe NCAA/NJCAA rules and regulations as they pertain to intercollegiate athletics.
  3. Identify strengths and weaknesses as they relate to cross country racing events.
  4. Recognize racing strategies from video and racing event situations.
  5. Analyze race situations during intersquad and competitive events.
