MOT 155 - Motorsports Frames, Suspension, & Brakes

Description
This class covers function, construction, and operation of vehicle frame, suspension, and brakes design. This class will show the geometry, types, and construction of vehicle frames and design.

Student Learning Outcomes
  1. Identify various components used in steering and suspension, and the frame, and describe its function.
  2. Differentiate frame geometry.
  3. Evaluate, diagnose, and repair suspension and steering.
  4. Inspect, service, repair and replace tires.
  5. Demonstrate wheel truing, tire balancing, and alignment.
  6. Evaluate, diagnose and repair hydraulic, and anti-lock brake system.
