CPD 218 - Substance Use Disorders and the Family System
Credits: 3Description This course explores the assessment and treatment of families experiencing substance use and behavioral addictions. Using a strength-based framework, students will discuss systemic approaches to understanding families experiencing addiction. The course will also provide an overview of the changing traditional family as well as the challenges of non-traditional families.
