Description
This course covers: 1) Solving electrical circuit problems using PSpice, 2) Solve electrical problems using Multisim, and 3) Build and test simulated circuits.

Student Learning Outcomes

Understand the basic concepts of electric devices and circuits.
Apply Ohm’s law, Kirchhoff’s laws, and the nodal and mesh analysis to solve the circuit problems.
Analyze complex resistive circuits including those containing opamps, and controlled sources.
Analyze the first and second order RCL circuits containing various components.
Derive Thevenin and Norton equivalent circuits.
Apply circuit theorems to simplify the analysis of electric circuits.

Prerequisite: MATH 182
Corequisite: EE 220
