PHYS 180L - Physics for Scientists and Engineers Lab I

Description
Laboratory exercises in Newtonian mechanics. Covers rectilinear motion, particle dynamics, work and energy, momentum and collision, rotational mechanics, oscillations, wave motion, and gravitation. Note: Students should also be enrolled in PHYS 180 - Physics for Scientists and Engineers I  while taking this lab course.

Student Learning Outcomes
  1. Demonstrate basic experimental skills by setting up and conducting experiments.
  2. Demonstrate the ability to analyze data and perform dimensional and graphical analysis of collected data.
  3. Interpret experimental data to examine the physical laws of mechanics.

Prerequisite: MATH 181  with a grade of C or higher
