Analysis of similarities and differences in the governing processes of developed and developing societies.

Student Learning Outcomes
  1. Identify and apply the basic theoretical concepts employed in the study of comparative politics.
  2. Compare the political systems and issues of specific countries.
  3. Identify and analyze the differences between regime types, political systems, and institutions in various regions of the world.
  4. Describe and analyze the impact of competing ideologies on nations’ institutions of government and politics.
