Student Learning Outcomes
- Describe terminology, major theories, and research findings prevalent in developmental psychology.
- Discuss developmental processes that contribute to human socialization, learning, behavior, emotions, cognition, personality, gender identity, attraction, sexuality, and intelligence.
- Explain various influences on human development including biology, family, peers, teachers, environment, social class, gender, culture, ethnicity, and other influences.
- Discuss life factors that contribute to normal, abnormal or psychopathological patterns of development.
- Apply theories and findings in developmental psychology to analyze issues at various stages across the lifespan.
