RST 150 - Abrahamic Religions: Judaism, Christianity, Islam Credits: 3 Description This course focuses on the major historical developments, structural cosmology, symbolic interpretation, and values of the Abrahamic religions: Judaism, Christianity, Islam.
Student Learning Outcomes
- The student will identify the characteristics of sacred traditions.
- The student will identify the characteristics of the Abrahamic religions.
- The student will analyze and critique complex elements of the Abrahamic religious traditions including history, rituals, myth, symbols and texts.
- The student will give examples of interrelationships between the Abrahamic religions and the impact of these interrelationships on the contemporary world.
- The student will compare and contrast elements of the Abrahamic religions.
