Description
This course focuses on expanding intermediate-level vocabulary, developing oral skills, and exploring basic grammatical concepts to prepare students for second year courses. The course was designed for students who grew up or spent significant amounts of time, in a Spanish-speaking environment.

Student Learning Outcomes

Develop intermediate level oral and aural skills in Spanish.
Analyze and use basic Spanish grammatical structures including: present, preterit, and imperfect tenses.
Expand their Spanish vocabulary and recognize the influence from English on the Spanish spoken in the United States.
