Description
This course prepares the student for completion of the UA-51 brazing certification as per section IX of the boiler and pressure vessel code.

Student Learning Outcomes

Demonstrate the proper preparation of a copper joint for brazing.
Demonstrate the proper purge requirements.
Complete a one and a half inch (1 1/2”) braze joint with eighty (80) percent fill continuity.
