Description
Continuation from VETN 110B - Clinical Anatomy and Physiology I of the study of the comparative anatomy and physiology of common domestic and selected exotic animals utilizing the feline as the primary study animal. This course includes a lecture and laboratory section. It is required that the lecture and laboratory are successfully completed independently. Failure to pass either the lecture or lab will result in failure of the entire course.

Student Learning Outcomes

Identify the basic anatomical structures of cats, dogs, horses, cattle, reptiles, fish, and birds.
Explain the clinical importance of the structures studied.
Explain basic physiology as it relates to the animals studied.
Explain the clinical importance of the physiology studied.
Perform entry-level diagnostics testing to monitor physiologic function.
Cultivate the skill of self-directed learning in anatomy and physiology.
