CIT 211 - Microsoft Operating Systems Management

Description
In this course students will learn how to install, configure, and support Windows operating systems in an enterprise environment. Coverage includes managing local and cloud-based file storage and backup features. Students will learn how to secure the operating system enabling data protection on a device.

Student Learning Outcomes
  1. Install and configure Windows operating systems on computers with Microsoft deployment tools. 
  2. Manage user policies and profiles utilizing Group Policy and Microsoft Endpoint Manager. 
  3. Secure devices using group policy, Microsoft Defender, and Microsoft Endpoint Manager. 
  4. Manage user apps and data via group policy and Microsoft Endpoint Manager. 
  5. Troubleshoot common operating systems problems.
