RESTRICTED ENTRY PROGRAM
Students MUST be indentured in the Operating Engineers Apprenticeship Program before enrolling in classes. Special consideration will be given students who complete the Operating Engineers Associate of Applied Science if they are affected by the retroactive six year rule. DESCRIPTION
This degree prepares students for employment as a Journeyman Oil Well Driller with the Operating Engineers Union. Along with special program courses, academic skills emphasizing math, science and human relations are stressed to prepare students to meet the challenges common in the work place.

Student Learning Outcomes
- Comprehend and utilize all applicable oil well drilling tools.
- Comprehend and utilize formulas used in the calculations of all phases of oil well drilling work.
- Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot and repair any problems that arise in oil well drilling work.
