RESTRICTED ENTRY PROGRAM

Students MUST be indentured in the IBEW Residential Apprenticeship Program before enrolling in classes. Special consideration will be given students who complete the Trade Union Residential Certificate of Achievement if they are affected by the retroactive six year rule. DESCRIPTION

This program prepares students for employment as a Residential Electrician with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.

  • Human Relations: ELEC 115B and ELEC 120B

  1. Comprehend and utilize all applicable electrical tools.
  2. Comprehend and utilize formulas used in the calculations of all phases of electrical work
  3. Install all necessary equipment to complete any electrical system.
  4. Demonstrate the ability to troubleshoot and repair any problems that arise in electrical systems.
