The academic map is set up to show students the ideal path to completing the certificate in two (2) semesters. Students who cannot take the map’s recommended number of credits each semester will take longer to complete the degree, graduate and transfer.
CSN CA COMPUTING AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY: CYBER SECURITY - DIGITAL FORENSICS: DESCRIPTION
Upon successful completion of this certificate program, students will have the skills necessary to investigate computer crime. It includes instruction in PC troubleshooting and repair, Microsoft operating systems and networking as well as specialized training in digital forensics, and digital crime investigation.

*Digital Literacy is required for this certificate program and can be achieved through taking IS 100B or IS 101 . Students taking IS 101 will take a total of 36 credits for Certificate Completion.
