WHO SHOULD USE THIS ACADEMIC MAP

This academic map should be used by CSN students who have been accepted into the CSN Food Service Operations Program. Admittance into the Bachelor of Applied Science in Food Service Operations requires a minimum of an associate degree in Food and Beverage Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field from a regionally accredited institution.

 

HOW THIS ACADEMIC MAP IS SET UP

The academic map is set up to show students the ideal path to completing the degree in four (4) semesters. Students who cannot take the map’s recommended number of credits each semester will take longer to complete the degree and graduate.

 

CSN BAS FOOD SERVICE OPERATIONS: DESCRIPTION

Designed to provide quality education to those seeking a career or to further their career in food service operations.  The program consists of higher level course work in food and beverage management, and general education which enable students to obtain the necessary knowledge and skills to be successful in the fast paced and ever changing food service operations work environment. 

 

Student Note:  Prior to Semester #1.  Apply to the Food Service Operations program and receive approval from the program director to enter the program.  A minimum grade point average of 2.0 is required to graduate.
