DESCRIPTION

This program is designed to provide students with the opportunity to begin a career in the casino and gaming industry. Students will obtain a strong basic background in casino games, marketing, gaming regulations, gaming law and supervision.

STUDENT LEARNING OUTCOMES

  1. Explain the terminology used in the casino industry.

  2. Interpret the laws, regulations, minimum internal control standards, and policies regarding casino personnel as they relate to various casino operations and supervision.

  3. Describe the procedures applicable to table games, slots, cage, and casino marketing operations.

  4. Relate the customer service traits, characteristics, and attitudes of performing in a polite and courteous manner with both customers and other casino personnel.

General Education Requirements (22 Credits)
