RESTRICTED ENTRY PROGRAM
Students MUST be indentured in the Bricklayers Apprenticeship Program before enrolling in classes. Special consideration will be given students who complete the Bricklayers’ Certificate of Achievement if they are affected by the retroactive six year rule. DESCRIPTION
This degree prepares students for employment as a Journeyman Bricklayer with the Bricklayers Union. Along with special program courses, academic skills emphasizing related math, science, and human relations components are stressed to prepare students to meet the challenges common in the work place.
COMPUTATION & HUMAN RELATIONS COMPONENTS
- Computation: BRL 101B, 102B, 151B, 152B, 201B, and 202B
- Human Relations: BRL 101B and 102B

Student Learning Outcomes
- Comprehend and utilize all applicable brick laying tools.
- Comprehend and utilize formulas used in the calculations of all phases of brick laying.
- Comprehend the ability to troubleshoot and repair any problems that arise with brick laying installations.
