RESTRICTED ENTRY PROGRAM
The student MUST be indentured in the Laborers’ Environmental and Construction Apprenticeship Program before enrolling in classes. Special consideration will be given students who complete the Laborer Trades’ Certificate of Achievement if they are affected by the retroactive six year rule. DESCRIPTION
This degree prepares the student for employment as a Journeyman Laborer with the Laborers Union. Along with special program courses, academic skills emphasizing math, science, and human relations components are stressed to prepare students to meet the challenges common in the work place.

- Human Relations: APP 102B and APP 212B

Student Learning Outcomes
- Demonstrate an understanding of all OSHA regulations and concrete codes applicable to laborers.
- Demonstrate an understanding of sealing the building envelope in determining what weatherization solutions are applicable.
- Demonstrate an understanding of how to recognize hazardous building materials containing asbestos and/or lead.
