WMST 113 - Gender, Race, and Class Credits: 3 Description Interdisciplinary, cross-cultural survey of the ways in which gender interacts with race, age, class, and sexuality to shape human consciousness and determine the social organization of human society.
Student Learning Outcomes
- Analyze and evaluate theoretical perspectives on sex/gender, race/ethnicity, socio-economic class, and sexuality.
- Recognize the significant impact such classification has had on our lives and the world around us.
- Demonstrate an understanding of the history, development and construction of these categories.
