AES 110 - Heritage and Values I Credits: 1 Description Survey course designed to introduce students to the United States Air and Space Forces and provides an overview of the basic characteristics, missions, and organization of the Air and Space Forces.
Student Learning Outcomes 1. Examine the structure and organization of the Department of the Air Force.
2. Identify the customs and courtesies of the Department of the Air Force.
3. Identify officership as it relates to the Profession of Arms.
4. Examine major historical events, leaders, and milestones that contributed to the development of the Department of the Air Force.
5. Identify the characteristics of war and what the Department of the Air Force brings to the fight.
6. Examine the variety of officer career fields in the Air and Space Forces, the entitlements that Department of Air Force personnel receive, and the various services and activities found on a typical Air Force and/or Space Force base. Prerequisite: Current enrollment in UNLV AFROTC and department chair approval. Corequisite: None Graded: Letter Grade
