CONS 205B - Construction Site Safety Credits: 2 Description This course covers 30-hours of authorized training addressing the 29 CFR 1926 OSHA Construction Industry Regulation Standards and upon completion, students will receive a certificate from the U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
Student Learning Outcomes
- Interpret the OSHA Construction Industry Standards.
- Identify asbestos, lead, and radon in potential construction projects.
- Adhere to laws and regulations pertaining to Safety Management.
- Employ appropriate terms common to the Safety Management within the construction industry.
- Explain the relationship between management, safety practitioners, and employees.
