Description Introduces students to concepts of penetration testing to validate security measures and identify vulnerabilities. Topics include IT security awareness, data confidentiality, data integrity, legislated privacy policies, and individual and institutional liability. Explores methods used by intruders to gain access to computer resources and methods to prevent/reduce vulnerabilities.
