ENV 206 - Introduction to Climate Change Credits: 3 Description This class will examine the physical, chemical, and social factors that influence the components of Earth’s climate system.
Student Learning Outcomes
- Explore the major components of Earth systems and how they influence global climate.
- Analyze the characteristics of past climates in order to model and predict future climates.
- Examine both natural and anthropogenic causes of climate change.
- Assess the role of population growth on the accelerated effects of climate change.
- Evaluate how social, political, and economic factors impact solutions to climate issues.
