ET 294B - EET Capstone


Credits: 3
Description
Review of electrical circuits, analog and digital electronics, microprocessors; design, fabrication and testing of an emphasis/concentration-based project including schematics, wiring diagrams, and software; brief presentation and demonstration of working prototype. 

Please note: This course must be completed with the correct topic for each degree emphasis/concentration attempted.

Student Learning Outcomes

  1. Investigate electronics, microprocessors, schematic drawing, and emphasis/concentration subjects on course project.
  2. Troubleshoot and change project designs to meet requirements.
  3. Show knowledge of electronics, microprocessors, schematic drawing, and emphasis/concentration subjects through directed independent studies to support course project.
  4. Accomplish independent research.
  5. Write a report on the project, given an oral presentation, and defense of their project.

Prerequisite: ET 238B ; or ET 293B ; or both ET 282B  and CIT 180 ; and Department approval
Corequisite: None
Graded: Letter Grade
May Be Repeated: up to 3 times for a maximum of 9 credits
