Description
The further development of language skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Emphasis is placed on more sophisticated communication in all four language acquisition skills.

Further improve their German pronunciation.
Understand spoken and written German with greater facility.
Further their knowledge of Germanic countries and cultures.
Speak and write German with greater clarity, precision, style, and grammatical accuracy.
Learn to write a coherent, well-organized essay on a Germanic topic.
Increase their active vocabulary to 1,000 words and their passive vocabulary to 1,500 words.
Hold a 5-minute speech utilizing the structures and vocabulary learned in this course.
