MATH 176 - Introductory Calculus for Application in Business and Social Sciences Credits: 4 Description Differentiation and integration of algebraic functions with applications to the analysis of business and social science problems.
Student Learning Outcomes
- Perform operations on functions including inverse and composite functions.
- Apply the concepts of limit.
- Find derivatives of functions using differentiation rules.
- Evaluate definite and indefinite integrals.
- Apply definite integrals to real world problems.
Prerequisite: A grade of C or better in either MATH 124 or MATH 124E or MATH 126 or MATH 126E or MATH 128 ; or a satisfactory ACT/SAT/Placement Test score. Corequisite: None Graded: Letter Grade
