Student Learning Outcomes
- Demonstrate and explain the mechanical, thermal, and electrical properties of ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
- Perform tension, compact, and hardness tests for different types of materials.
- Identify the different types of steel and fully describe their industrial applications.
- Categorize the properties of various plastics and identify their application.
- Compute the mechanical properties of ferrous, non-ferrous, and composite material under different temperatures (Math component).
