CRS 101 - Introduction to Cardiorespiratory Concepts Credits: 4 Description This course serves as an overview to the healthcare system and introduces students to Cardiorespiratory Sciences. Including an overview of the global healthcare system and looks at the roles and responsibilities of varying healthcare disciplines. The course will also look at basic patient assessment and the role that healthcare workers play in patient safety (These outcomes are aligned with the Nevada Department of Education CTE Respiratory Science Standards). Successful completion of NDOE CTE Respiratory Sciences Program and an applicable assessment exam may constitute advanced placement.
