Original directed research in chemistry culminating in an oral presentation and written thesis.

Student Learning Outcomes

Develop a research topic using literature and other available resources.
Formulate a project proposal.
Devise an experimental method to acquire data for the research topic.
Generate data that examines the topic.
Analyze the data.
Compose a report in scientific style on the research findings.

Prerequisite: CHEM 220 and CHEM 310 and CHEM 330 and ENV 260 all with a grade of C or higher; and Instructor approval
