Description
This class provides the apprentice with hands-on experience in erecting a pre-engineered metal building. Emphasis is placed on interpreting charts and tables as well as safe work practices.

Comprehend and use ironworker terminology.
Understand the basic requirements for metal building erection.
Properly use and maintain the various tools and personal safety equipment needed on the job site.
Demonstrate the ability to interpret charts and tables.
Identify the various types of metal building structures and the procedures to properly erect each.
