Identify basic concepts of Anatomy, Microbiology, and Medical Terminology as it relates to the duties of Sterile Processing Technicians.
Recognize the duties and requirements of the Sterile Processing Technician within the healthcare setting.
Perform the correct decontamination, and sterilization process for various types of surgical instrumentation, and medical equipment.
Outline the processes needed to set-up and transport instrument trays for use and processing.
