This course is designed to help construction professionals develop an understanding of construction plans, material takeoffs, estimating, and scheduling.

Student Learning Outcomes

Use construction terminology used on construction plans including working and isometric drawing, abbreviations, and symbols.
Calculate material takeoffs from construction plans with the use of various math formulas.
Apply the material takeoffs to the construction estimating process.
Create a construction schedule including timing factors and lead time for labor, material and venders.
