Description
This course is designed to help construction professionals develop an understanding of construction plans, material takeoffs, estimating, and scheduling.
Student Learning Outcomes
- Use construction terminology used on construction plans including working and isometric drawing, abbreviations, and symbols.
- Calculate material takeoffs from construction plans with the use of various math formulas.
- Apply the material takeoffs to the construction estimating process.
- Create a construction schedule including timing factors and lead time for labor, material and venders.
