Student Learning Outcomes
- Formulate construction materials and list their applications.
- Discriminate between the various methods of construction.
- Summarize the development and use of new materials being introduced to the construction industry under sustainable building standards.
- Develop various aspects of construction foundations/site work, wood/timber systems, concrete and masonry systems, steel systems, building enclosure systems (curtain wall, roof), and related areas.
Prerequisite: PHYS 151 or PHYS 181 and PHYS 181L
