AM 146 - American Sign Language II Credits: 4 Description The course continues to stress the development of basic conversational skills with emphasis on expanding vocabulary and expressive skills.
Student Learning Outcomes
- Achieve receptive and expressive mastery of the features of ASL in targeted dialogues.
- Demonstrate receptive and expressive mastery of a set of targeted vocabulary items including lexicalized fingerspelling.
- Employ strategies for conversation regulators in ASL.
- Express self-generated short stories, narratives, etc., in ASL.
