ANTH 203 - Special Topics in Anthropology Credits: 3 Description Intensive survey of major areas of Anthropology. Topics will vary.
Student Learning Outcomes
- Students will demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the links between theory and practice in the discipline of Anthropology.
- Students will demonstrate knowledge of and familiarity with specific topics related to the field of Anthropology and be able to discuss at length the intricacies of the topic presented.
- Student will demonstrate knowledge and understanding of important historical origins of Anthropological subjects, including theories, thinkers, and cultural events related to the topics.
- Students will demonstrate the ability to related special topics to the overall field of Anthropology.
- Students will demonstrate the ability to apply special topics to their own lives.
- Students will demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the links between Anthropology and the local, state, national, and international communities.
Prerequisite: ANTH 101 Corequisite: None Graded: Letter Grade May Be Repeated: Up to six (6) credits
