Explain special rules for various tones in the Pinyin system.
Identify four tones in Chinese pronunciation.
Differentiate between simplified characters and traditional characters.
Use fourteen basic writing strokes.
Use more than 200 Chinese characters and 150 phrases in dialogues.
Formulate responses to questions in Chinese, verbally and/or in writing.
