Instructs in the most current standards of the American Heart Association for ACLS. Class is offered in seminar format over two days.

Discuss and apply current American Heart Association standards for advanced cardiac care
Discuss and apply current therapeutic modalities as they apply to cardiac patients
Recognize and appropriately treat patients according to AHA standards
Work in a team atmosphere and function as a team leader when called upon
Project a positive and professional demeanor while in the classroom and laboratory setting

Prerequisite: Current AHA BLS CPR card and EMS Program Director approval
