This course covers the operation and safety requirements of powered equipment. The OSHA requirements for personal protective equipment and inspection are also covered.

Student Learning Outcomes

Demonstrate familiarity and application of proper safety procedures In operating motor driven Georgia Buggies, aerial scissor lifts and power pallet jacks.
Demonstrate familiarity and application of identifying hazards as well as potential hazards and the work related to using each machine.
Demonstrate familiarity and application of personal protective equipment to be worn for each activity and OSHA regulations.
