CUL 275 - Advanced Cake Design Credits: 3 Description This course covers advanced techniques in cake decorating. Students will learn how to make advanced icings such as fondant and royal icing, and how to assemble and decorate advanced specialty and wedding cakes.
Student Learning Outcomes
- Produce advanced icings such as fondant and royal icing.
- Produce tiered cake layers.
- Design and assemble specialty cakes.
- Create specialty decorations.
- Design and produce a standard wedding cake.
