FAB 285 - Catering Management Credits: 3 Description Course teaches students how to market, sell, organize, plan, and execute catered affairs. Includes various types of meeting room setups used to meet customer requirements.
Student Learning Outcomes
- Create a banquet event order.
- Design a plan that should result in the successful execution of a catered event.
- Assess the way external factors may affect a specific catered function.
- Compare types and styles of room set-ups, including the way in which food and beverage choices can dictate the set-up.
Prerequisite: FAB 112 or TCA 188 with a C- or better
