Description
This course will introduce the student to the fundamental principles and concepts of American Constitutional Law with specific emphasis on civil rights, liberties and responsibilities.

Student Learning Outcomes

Explain the fundamental principles and concepts of American Constitutional Law.
Identify the three branches of the federal government and the interpretation of the articles that created them and control their functioning.
Compare and contrast the individual’s rights in society, the changes in society that impact individual rights, and the Supreme Court decisions interpreting individual rights.
