Student Learning Outcomes
- Examine the role and responsibilities of the nursing assistant in the State of Nevada.
- Protect patients’ rights.
- Use good listening and communication skills.
- Demonstrate professional standards of work and conduct.
- Follow the dictates of healthcare safety and infection control.
- Perform tasks that are supportive to the nursing care of patients, under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
Prerequisite: A satisfactory score on the Accuplacer Reading Placement test; or a grade of C or higher in ENG 100 or ENG 101 or ENG 110 or ENG 113 Corequisite: None Graded: Letter Grade
