PHIL 131 - Introduction to Metaphysics Credits: 3 Description Selected problems concerning human nature and reality, e.g., mind and body, freedom and determinism, space and time, God, causality.
Student Learning Outcomes
- To understand and critically evaluate abstract philosophy ideas and texts.
- To produce well written philosophy papers, exhibiting comprehension, critical analysis, and problem solving.
- To understand what metaphysics is, including some main metaphysical problems, solutions, and arguments.
